Center Staff
Project Director, CHN
Natalia oversees research projects focused on studying the impact of nature on health. She has extensive experience in community-based preventive health initiatives, gained from her time in the Texas Medical Center and as a Community Ambassador for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Natalia also serves as the Texas Delegate for the Society of Public Health Education (SOPHE), is a Board Member of the Houston Global Health Collaborative, and is part of the Harris County One Health Action Hub (HCOHAH).
Research Coordinator, CHN | Office of Sustainability
Amy Isidahomen is a Research Coordinator at Houston Methodist Hospital with experience in clinical research across M.D. Anderson, UTHealth and Baylor College of Medicine. She holds a B.S. in Kinesiology with a minor in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Houston. Amy has supported projects in cancer prevention, neonatology, urology, addiction medicine, and behavioral health, with a focus on patient care and research compliance.
Program Manager, CHN | Office of Sustainability
Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in Horticulture and Agricultural Economics and her Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. Working at Hermann Park made Jessica’s love for people apparent, which ultimately helped her move to Houston Methodist as a Volunteer Coordinator for the medical center. In her current role, Jessica supports the Center for Health & Nature and the Houston Methodist Office of Sustainability. This role combines the importance of people, health, and the environment, which is the foundation for both organizations.
